Glen Forsa – 9/2

Glen Forsa looked the type that would enjoy chasing and he has taken to it like a duck to water. He is unbeaten over the larger obstacles and has beaten some useful types in those races. This grade 2 winner can improve again and win the Arkle Chase for Mick Channon at  9/2.

Friend or Foe – 12/1 – E/W

This is a very open race in which anyone could win, but Nicholls sounds quite confident in FRIEND OR FOE. Nicholls has a good track record in this race and bought the horse last summer with this race in mind. He won on his only start in England and for Nicholls making all the running that day. The Nicholls camp are quietly expecting big things from FRIEND OR FOE in this race.

Quel Destin – 8/1

The racing on the final day kicks off with the JCB Triumph Hurdle in which Sir Eric is a short priced favourite at 6/5. However, I am taking him on with QUEL DESTIN at 8/1. He has lost only one of his 6 races since joining Nicholls and has been impressive on his last few starts. Nicholls is very confident in QUEL DESTIN stating “Sir Eric will have to be really good to beat our horse, he is one of our leading chances for Cheltenham”. He definitely seems worth backing at 8/1. He is a great bet at is price for an each way placing, a win bet or even a reverse forecast with he favourite, Sir Eric.
